KINDS
OF SENTENCE
Sentence কাকে বলে
?
অর্থভেদে Sentence পাচঁ প্রকার। যথা-
1.
Assertive
Sentence-বিবৃতিমূলক বাক্য।
2.
Interrogative
Sentenc-প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য।
3.
Imperative
Sentence-অনুজ্ঞাসূচক বাক্য।
4.
Optative
Sentence-ইচ্ছা বা পার্থনাসূচক বাক্য।
5.
Exclamatory
Sentence-আবেগসূচক বাক্য।
Assertive Sentence কাকে বলে
?
Assertive Sentence: যে Sentence কোনো বিবৃতি প্রদান
করে, তাকে Sentence Assertive বা বিবৃতিমূলক বাক্য বলে।(The Sentence
which simply asserts something is called Assertive Sentence.) যেমন-
I go to school- আমি বিদ্যালয়ে যাই।
He reads a book-সে ত্রকটি বই পড়ে।
I do not eat rice- আমি ভাত খাই।
Assertive Sentence আবার দুই প্রকার। যথা-
(a)
Affirmative
Sentence-হ্যাঁ-বোধক।
(b)
Negative
Sentence - না-বোধক।
Affirmative Sentence কাকে বলে
?
Affirmative
Sentence: যে
Sentence দ্বারা
কোনো হ্যাঁ-বোধক উক্তি করা হয়, তাকে Affirmative
Sentence বলে।
(The sentence in
which something is affirmed is called an
Affirmative Sentence.) যেমন-
I go to
school- আমি স্কুলে যাই।
He has a
pen- তার ত্রকটি কলম আছে।
I read
in class four- আমি চতুর্থ শ্রেণিতে
পড়ি।
Negative
Sentence : যে Sentence দ্বারা কোনো না-বোধক উক্তি করা হয়, তাকে
Negative Sentence বলে।(The Sentence in which something
is denied is called a Negative Sentence.) যেমন-
I do not
go to school-আমি
বিদ্যালয়ে যাই না।
He has
no pen-তার
কলম নেই।
Interrogative Sentence কাকে বলে ?
Interrogative
Sentence : যে Sentence দ্বারা কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু সম্পর্কে কোনো কিছু জিজ্ঞাসা বা
প্রশ্ন করা হয়, তাকে Interrogative Sentence বলে।
(The Sentence in
which a question is asked about a person or a thing is called an Interrogative
Sentence.) যেমন-
Who are
you?-তুমি কে?
What is
your name?-তোমার নাম কি?
How old
are you?-তোমার বয়স কত?
Are you
a student?-তুমি কি ত্রকজন ছাত্র?
What is your
father?-তোমার বাবা কি করেন?
Imperative
Sentence কাকে বলে?
Imperative
Sentence : যে Sentence দ্বারা আদেশ, উপদেশ, অনুরোধ, ইত্যাদি বুঝায়, তাকে Imperative
Sentence বলে। (The Sentence which expresses commend, advice,
request etc. is called an Imperative Sentence.) যেমন-
Open
your book- দরজাটি খোল। -আদেশ
Be
attentive- মনোযোগী হও। -উপদেশ
Please
help me- দয়া করে আমাকে সাহায্য করুন। -অনুরোধ
Do not
tell a lie- মিথ্যা কথা বলো না। -নিষেধ
Note : ইংরেজি ও বাংলা উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই Imperative
Sentence-ত্র Subject উহ্য থাকে।
Optative
Sentence কাকে বলে ?
Optative
Sentence : : যে Sentence দ্বারা প্রার্থনা, মনের ইচ্ছা বা শুভ-অশুভ কামনা করা বুঝায়, তাকে Optative Sentence বলে।
(The Sentence which
expresses prayer or wish is called an Optative Sentence.) যেমন-
May
Allah bless you- আল্লাহ তোমার মঙ্গল করুক।
May you
live long- তুমি দীর্ঘজীবী হও।
May you
be happy- তুমি সুখী হও।
May you
prosper in life- তুমি জীবনে উন্নতি কর।
May
Bangladesh prosper day by day- বাংলাদেশ
দিন দিন উন্নতি করুক।
Exclamatory
Sentence কাকে বলে?
Exclamatory
Sentence: যে
Sentence দ্বারা মনের আকস্মিক ভাব বা আবেগ প্রকাশ
পায়, তাকে
Exclamatory Sentence বলে।
(The Sentence
which expresses some sudden feeling of mind is called an Exclamatory Sentence.) যেমন-
Alas! I
am undone- হায়!আমার সর্বনাশ হয়েছে।
Hurrah!
We have won the game- সাবাস! আমরা খেলায়
জিতেছি।
What a
nice man he is!- কী ভালো লোক তিনি!
How
intelligent the girl is!- কেমন বুদ্ধিমতী
